Today has been a wonderful day. Dinner with the family. Football. Rest. But, most of all reflecting upon God’s blessings on me and my family. We are blessed!

This week the United States of America will celebrate Thanksgiving. It is a time our nation has set aside to offer thanks to God for His goodness to us. From my perspective, it is unfortunate that we have allowed the holiday to become secularized. I’m afraid that many of the thanksgiving prayers recited before the Thanksgiving meal are merely token prayers. We have allowed the meal itself, family, friends, and football to take precedence.
